kids these days have no expectation of privacy because they live in a government and corporate panopticon with the cultural knowledge of celebrity going hand-in-hand with an absurdly intrusive media and so they’ve adapted by being much more open about themselves because they understand that you can’t say anything in private: if you’re willing to say something to someone you must also be willing to say it to the entire world.

Did this really start off with a ‘kids these days’ opener? Wow. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the fact I was seriously pondering the message of this post until I re-read that part of it.
